What's wrong? Ok. loaded question... let's see (insert twisted smiley puking, rolling eyes here) Exhaustion, headache, sniffle, cough, sore throat, runny nose, dizzy, lost my ability to speak, movement hurt, to not move hurt, my eyes hurt, bloody noses, ears popping and mostly unable to hear, my chest hurt, everything ached, I lived in a fog- hot showers and the GOD-sent hot tub were my saving graces! For the first time I understood the medicinal benefit of chicken broth. It was all that I wanted. The only thing that even slightly appealed to me. Lots and lots of vitamins and other medicinal variety of things to get me moving each day (for the few hours I FORCED myself to go to work) To be honest I think I lost a couple days in there somewhere... But now I appear to be on the mend... sniffles, coughing and ear popping are the hardest daily stuff but at night I'm sleeping in the recliner cuz if I lay flat (or attempt a pillow stack) I end up coughing and gagging all night and get ZERO sleep which was part of the Exhaustion problem. Stiff muscles and I ache, but so far from where I was a few days ago. That was pretty decriptive I think... insert another smiley (gagging red faced) laughing and coughing at the same time... Appreciating the humor and the irony of life...

Hmmm...that does sound pretty serious. You didn't go see a dr.? Some of the symptoms sound like a severe cold, but the bloody noses are a different story (I've had them a lot lately too, but mine's the anemia). There are some really bad things going around right now and you should really have seen a dr. If you start feeling icky again, you should definitely go in!

I hope you're feeling better by now. I read your blog pretty late. There's a great book that I have that has helped me immensley to weigh out when I can safely do the home remedy (self treatment) or when I should waste no time & immediately see a doctor. It's called Take Care of Yourself by Vickery & Fries. It's saved me a bundle in unnecessary doctor visits & helped me make the right call about when I need to get the doctor involved. Personally, these past two weeks I've been dealing with sinusitus. Sounds like you have what I have AND THEN SOME!!!
